Get by course in French

The objective of this course is to enable the learner to cope with most everyday situations encountered in France. It is ideal for people taking a holiday in a French speaking country, planning to live or wishing to acquire a property in France. This course is preferably accessible to people who have some previous knowledge of French even if it is slight.
It can be taken in batches of 12 hours (8 lessons of 90 minutes) and for one, two or three persons of the same starting level and with the same objectives.

Beginners course in general French

This beginner's course introduces the basic blocks of the French language. It requires the student to attend the class regularly and preferably to do homework consisting at least in listening to a CD. Progress is measurable every 24 hours of classes. The student will learn from lesson one to express himself/herself with special care given to pronouncing the French sounds correctly. This course can be taken individually or with one or two colleagues or friends equally motivated, it then becomes better value for money. This course can be purchased in batches of 12 hours (8 lessons of 90 minutes).

Courses of specialised French

These courses can be taken from beginner's level. The length can vary according to the objectives of the learner. It can be geared to :

- Business, Bank and Finance,
-Science & Techniques,
-Computer science,
-Health and medical professions,
-Diplomacy,
-Environment,
and in all specific work situations.

Course of conversational French

This is a group class of one hour each for 3 to 6 students taking place in a French café. A different theme is given each time and texts and vocabulary are sent before the lesson. The environment helps some students to be more relaxed than in a classroom and it is more fun. It is suitable to a wide variety of levels going from people with a minimum of 30 hours' tuition to intermediate and advanced levels. It is booked in batches of 6 sessions.

Preparation for examinations : GCSE, "A Level", DELF and DALF

Lessons are programmed towards exam success. They are designed on an ad hoc basis depending on the level of the student and the date of exam.

Intensive or semi-intensive French course

This course is for people who have little time to achieve their goal. Usually an intensive course consists in 6 hours plus a working lunch or only 3 hours per day. They can be taken on week days or over the week-end. These courses are not accessible to complete beginners.
